Psycho Pass

In the near future, an artificial intelligence named Sybil is capable of detecting individuals who are psychologically dangerous to society. People's thoughts, their desires — we live in an era where technology can read everything hidden within our minds. Lieutenant Tsunemori has just joined the unit tasked with apprehending individuals whose "Psycho-Pass", a kind of psychological gauge, has gone awry. Her first day begins with an extremely violent case, during which she must team up with special agents known as Enforcers, whose Psycho-Pass has reached a point of no return. These "unredeemables" are authorized to operate freely for the sole purpose of apprehending criminals of their kind. Unlike what she learned at the academy, where she graduated at the top of her class, she comes to realize that the real world leaves little room for logic. Compassion, too, has vanished — leading her to question the decisions made by Sybil.
