Steins Gate

Rintarô Okabe is a somewhat paranoid scientist, always accompanied by Mayuri and Itaru, who assist him in his eccentric experiments for his laboratory. While attending a seminar on time travel, Rintarô meets Kurisu, who tries to convince him that he spoke to her fifteen minutes earlier, but Rintarô has no memory of this and does not recall having seen the girl. Shortly afterwards, he discovers Kurisu's lifeless body. As he attempts to notify Itaru by text message, he is plunged into a ghost town. Coming back to his senses, he finds Mayuri and cannot understand what has happened, all the more so as in the meantime a satellite has crashed into the building he was in. The confusion will be even greater for Rintarô when he learns that the text message he sent to Itaru is dated a week ago, and that Kurisu is still alive.
