Chapter 13 — Violation

Chiyuri gets Takumu to transfer the Brain Burst program to her and both Takumu and Haruyuki are shocked to learn that it successfully installs. The next day as a new school year begins Haruyuki, Chiyuri and Takumu are transferred to the same class. During assembly Haruyuki notices some odd behavior from Kuroyukihime, believing there may be another Burst Linker among the new students. While checking to see if any new Burst Linkers are around, with no such luck, Haruyuki and Takumu help Chiyuri get a grasp of dueling within Brain Burst, learning that she gained the Duel Avatar: Lime Bell, with healing abilities. Haruyuki reports this to Kuroyukihime, who explains that Chiyuri is likely to be sought after since her ability is so rare that only two other healers exists within Brain Burst, one who retired from the game long ago and one of the Six Kings of Color, whom she doesn't name. Kuroyukihime then reveals she is going on a school trip to Okinawa, tasking Haruyuki and the others with defending Nega Nebulus' territory while she is away. Later, as Takumu participates in a kendo tournament, Haruyuki suspects that his opponent, a freshman named Seiji Nomi, is using some sort of acceleration power, but he doesn't appear to be a Burst Linker upon inspection.
