Chapter 4 — Episode 4
**Tokyo Ghoul – Season 1, Episode 4** First, Kaneki encounters the flamboyant ghoul Tsukiyama at Anteiku, where Touka warns Kaneki that Tsukiyama is the "scourge of the 20th Ward" and someone to be wary of. Tsukiyama takes an unsettling interest in Kaneki's unusual scent before being driven off by Touka. Then, seeking answers about his past, Kaneki accompanies Tsukiyama to a underground ghoul bar called the Ghoul Restaurant, where he is introduced to Itori, an information broker. Later, Kaneki visits a gourmet club with Tsukiyama, who reveals he had previously tried to recruit Rize into his exclusive culinary circle, only to be coldly rejected by her. During their outing, Kaneki accidentally cuts himself, and Tsukiyama, barely containing his excitement at the smell of Kaneki's blood, uses the moment to deepen his manipulation of Kaneki. At the end, Itori drops a shocking rumor that someone may have deliberately caused the steel beam accident that nearly killed Kaneki and killed Rize, leaving Kaneki deeply shaken and questioning whether Rize's death was truly an accident.
