Chapter 10 — Episode 10

**Beginning:** The episode opens with a flashback to young Senku discovering electricity through Edison's biography, marveling at it as the most fundamental force in the universe. Back in the present, after 1 year and 4 months of survival, Senku announces he has finally reached a milestone in science by generating electricity. The group, including Gen, witnesses this achievement, and Senku explains to Suika that Gen — despite being Tsukasa's spy — must be recruited to spread false information that Senku is dead. **Middle:** Gen recalls waking up in the stone world and reuniting with Tsukasa. The group then learns about the village's "Grand Bout" martial tournament, where the winner earns the right to marry the priestess Ruri and become the village chief. Kohaku explains that she previously won the tournament herself to prevent the ruthless Magma from marrying Ruri, which led to her banishment. It is revealed that Magma stabbed Gen — mistaking him for Senku — in order to eliminate a rival before the upcoming rematch tournament scheduled for the following month. **Finally:** Gen secretly slips away during the night and rushes back to Tsukasa, where he reports that Senku was nowhere to be found and is certainly dead, successfully delivering the false information. Senku, who had anticipated this, stops Kohaku from chasing Gen and calmly explains that Gen had already decided to side with the Kingdom of Science the moment he witnessed electricity being created. The episode ends with Senku sealing Gen's alliance with a promise to make him a cold cola, declaring the first battle between the Tsukasa Empire and the Kingdom of Science — the fight to recruit Gen — a victory for science.
