Eighty Six Season 1

Chapter 4 — Real Name

The episode opens in the aftermath of a battle, with Theoto (Laughing Fox) angrily confronting Handler One, Vladilena Milizé, accusing her of treating the Eighty-Six like weapons while staying safe behind the walls and never even asking for their real names. Shin cuts the Para-RAID connection, and Lena is left alone, guilt-ridden, apologizing to the late Kaie for behaving no differently from the other white pigs. Then, the following day, the Spearhead Squadron is seen in a lighter moment trying to catch a fox, while Raiden and Theo discuss the outburst, with Raiden admitting it bothered him too. Later, Lena meets with her uncle Jerome Karlstahl, who warns her against idealism and implies her father's death was a result of his own reckless principles; Lena firmly refuses to abandon her role as Spearhead's Handler and challenges Jerome on whether the Republic truly upholds its founding values. At the end, Lena reconnects via Para-RAID and visits the War Casualties Cemetery with Shin, where she sincerely apologizes to the unit. Raiden delivers a blunt but honest speech — acknowledging Lena's efforts while making clear she will never be their equal as long as she remains behind the walls. One by one, the Spearhead members reveal their real names to Lena. Finally, Lena notices Shin has not given his name, and when he does — Shinei Nouzen — she recognizes the surname and asks if he knows Shourei Nouzen, revealing she knew his brother, whose dying words were "I'm With You."
